Christa Sylvia Cressman

Christa Cressman of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away June 1st , 2026. She was born July 4th, 1942 to the late Elsbeth (Von Grambusch) and Erwin Ritter in France. She spent her childhood living in Eltville, Germany. She went to England at 18, where she met and married Peter Hurst. Together they had 2 children, Gabriella and Nicolette.

Christa spent many years as a model and working in the fashion industry in London.

She and her second husband, Harry Cressman enjoyed traveling the world and spent time in their homes in London, Southern France, Andorra and The Bahamas, before finally settling in Florida. Christa had a zest for life and enjoyed entertaining! Survivors include daughters, Gabriella Kyles and husband Brad; Nicolette Hurst; her grandchildren, Kristina Fallin and husband Greg; Bradley Kyles and wife Lana; great grandchildren Carter Fallin, Cooper Fallin and Avery Kyles; sister Karin Lange. She is preceded in death by her parents Elsbeth and Ervin Ritter, her husbands Peter Hurst and Harry Cressman, her sisters Gisela Ritter, Magdalene Ritter and Edda Ritter, and her brothers Max Ritter and Robert Ritter.

Christa will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Christa’s visitation will be held at 10am Monday 6/8/2026 with the funeral service following at 11am at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408.

Following the service friends and family are invited to celebrate Christa’s life at her favorite place, The Bistro, 2133 U.S 1, Jupiter, Florida.

Because Christa loved life and colors, colors are requested and in true Christa fashion, the brighter the better.
