Our deepest condolences.  We are so sorry for the loss of Corey.  Although Corey was just briefly in our lives, he has forevermore left a great imprint of love in our hearts. We are forever greatful for the love he shared with our grandchildren, Jasmine and little Robert.
Please take comfort in the wonderful person that he was and will always be.

There are no words to express my sadness that you're gone. I am so shocked and don't want to believe that I will never see you again. You were an amazing young man and did not deserve what happened to you. 

I will deeply miss your sarcastic sense of humor that I loved so much, and of course your laugh and smirked smile. You were truly an amazing man who was always helping others. Your kindness and love constantly showed, and anyone who knew you was lucky to experience that. I am happy to have so many wonderful memories with you that I will cherish forever. 

Family gatherings will never be the same without you, but I promise to keep your spirit alive. 

I love you more than you know. I pray you're resting peacefully in heaven. I know your playing on the winning team up there. Until we meet again!

I have tried to find the words to express my deepest sympathies on the passing of Corey. I am forever indebted to the friendship that you as well as Corey provided to me during my time as the Sports Information Director from 2003-06 at FIU. It was always a pleasant day at the ballpark to see you at the games, Bud. I enjoyed watching Corey give a 110% to being a better baseball player as he was very well equipped with the tenacity to succeed. His legacy will carry me and many others forward in the days to come.
