
We regret to inform you that David Lee Brooks, 93, of Baltimore, Maryland and North Palm Beach passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018. Born and raised in Towson, son of the late Daniel Bosley Brooks and Louise Bateman Brooks, David served in the Navy during WWII. Following his time in the service, he moved back to Maryland and began his career in the automobile sales industry. Dave was the proud owner of Brooks Buick/BMW of Towson, Maryland. His hobbies included horse racing, golf and playing cards.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Stephanie Hucht Brooks, his sister Elizabeth B. Cobb, his son Daniel Bosley Brooks, and his daughters Helen Louise Brooks and Nancy Lee Brooks and step-daughters Britney Erin Anderson, Corie Jones Verron and Tasha Leigh Lasater. He was preceded in death by his former wives Nancy L. Brooks (Leonard) and Katharine D. Brooks (Dockman). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Collin David Howard, Ashlea Howard Brown, Katharine Brooks Grandbois, Emily Brooks McCormick, David Lee Brooks, Brandon Hartz, Royal Arthur Anderson, Edward Louis Verron, Scarlett Frances Anderson and seven great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Black Rock Cemetery in Butler, Maryland on November 29, 2018 at 2pm.
