Earl Rich

Earl Thomas Rich, 72, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2011. He was born in Palmetto, FL on July 8, 1939, to parents Ernest T. Rich and Mae Dora Chancey Rich. Earl was a 1957 graduate of South Dade High School, Homestead, FL. .

He was predeceased by his sister, Anna G. Neal. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of thirty two years, Carolyn Lawson Rich, daughters; Julie Dove, Cincinnati, OH, Jenna Wilder, Decatur, IL, grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.

Earl enjoyed woodworking and was a fishing enthusiast. He was considered the “go-to” guy in the neighborhood for those in need of a helping hand. His camaraderie will be missed by many neighbors, family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Howard-Price Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy 1, North Palm Beach, FL

on Friday, August 26, 2011, from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 8:00pm.

Interment on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 1 pm at Bethany Cemetery, Myakka, FL.
