Eric Andrew Umbach

Eric will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his mother Patricia Umbach, father Jeffrey Umbach, sister Jessica Goforth, brother-in-law Chad Goforth, niece Julie Goforth, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

After graduating from Palm Beach Gardens High School, Eric went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida in 2002.

Everything that Eric undertook was done to the maximum. This was certainly true considering how seriously he took his job as a construction superintendent aspiring for perfection in each project.

More than anything, he loved fishing. He learned from everyone he could and then tried to take it to the next level, sparing no expense in his dedication to the sport. But most of all, he enjoyed the friends that fished with him. Second only to fishing, was his love for hunting and the large group of friends that he hunted with.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Eric at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy. 1, North Palm Beach on September 26, 2026 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
