Eugene L. Jordan, 86 years old of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Joseph and Jennie Jordan, Eugene grew up in Providence and New York City. He served proudly in the United States Army from 1943 till 1946, much of that time aboard the hospital ship Jarrett M Huddleston. After WWII he attended the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn where he earned his degree in chemical engineering. He worked for RCA for 30 years until his retirement and was a volunteer paramedic with the River Road Rescue Squad in Piscataway, New Jersey for many years. Eugene moved to Palm Beach Gardens in 1980. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth Jordan in July of 2000.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy LeMaster of Hobe Sound, FL; Lois Erickson (Carl) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Ellen Jordan of West Palm Beach, FL and his grandchildren, John LeMaster and Katherine LeMaster.
