FRANCIS (FRANK) CLAYTON MANNING JR. Frank, 81, passed away on Tuesday July 30,2013 in his home in North Palm Beach, Florida. Frank was born on March 4, 1932 in Brockton, MA to parents F. Clayton and Jennie Manning. One of the first graduates of Stonehill College and a member of the United States Marine Corps, Frank moved to Florida where he married his wife Barbara in 1962. Together they raised three children. Until his retirement, Frank continued to work as the purchasing manager for Pratt and Whitney. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In addition to Barbara, his wife of 51 years, Frank is survived by his three children: Jackie (Patrick) Sedlak, Jennifer (Rod) Gimbel, and Michael (Karen) Manning; his four brothers and sisters: John (Bette), Michael (Norma), June (Peter) Folger, and Janet (Ed) Derrickson; and his six grandchildren: Shawn, Lauren, Hannah, and Emma Sedlak and Parker and Sadie Gimbel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church in North Palm Beach. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in West Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity.
