Fred was born in Richmond, VA on Sept. l7, 1945. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University, he joined the Marine Corps and was a Purple Heart recipient for his service in Vietnam. Upon his return, Fred moved to the Washington, DC area where he owned and operated 7 companies in the intelligence and counter-terrorism business. He was an avid sportsman and world traveler, visiting 154 foreign countries with his wife, Kris.
Fred was a great friend and was always the first to help anyone in need. He lived every day to the fullest and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kris, sisters Patsy Sadler and Caroline Cashion, brother Guy Williams, brother-in-law Marty Kozarec and mother-in-law, Jean Kozarec.
He will be entombed at the South Florida National Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held in December. Memorials can be sent to the SemperFiFund.org, Fred's favorite charity that supports wounded soldiers and their families during their rehab and recovery. Nearly 100% of the donations go directly to the project.
