Gary Michael Socha

Gary M. Socha, 69 years old, of North Palm Beach, left us February 14, 2016. Gary attended Bridgton Academy and received a full Ice Hockey Scholarship to American International College "AIC" in Springfield, MA. He made All American Honors and was a top scorer in his league. He went on to play professional Ice Hockey in the Montreal Canadians organization. In business he started his career with John Deere and went on to open his own dealership becoming one of the largest dealerships in New England. His next and last stop was HealthMarkets the insurance business where he held positions of National Sales Director and National Recruiting Director. His personal passions were golf and fishing. He played golf every week in both Hilton Head and North Palm Beach. Going for Sailfish on the Wildcat was something he really loved. His number one passion above all else was family. He always put them first. Predeceased by father Nicholas J. Socha, mother Helen "Pam" Socha. Survived by wife Debbi Socha, son Gary Socha, Jr., daughter-in-law Cat Socha, granddaughter Olivia Socha. A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center with a Funeral Service beginning at 3:00PM.
