I remember when Gerry first came into the store needing shoes, he was very straight- forward and slightly gruff. But as soon as he realized we knew what we were doing and could handle his requests for footwear, he was as as fun and agreeable as one could hope for. What a fine man he was! The entire staff who knew him thoroughly enjoyed his conversation and his visits to the store. We will miss him terribly.
