Gerald Paul Keever

Gerald Paul Keever (Jerry), 79, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away at his home on April 8, 2017. He was born in Danville, IL on July 29, 1937. He is the loving son of Sidney and Gladys Riggs Keever. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Martha Lehmann Keever. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Charles Gilbert Keever (Carol) and Glenn Edward Keever (Jacque) He has one surviving sister, Shirley Keever Sheets (Walter). He is survived by his loving family including his cherished daughters Marta Maria Keever and Judge Dina Keever-Agrama, son-in -law Dr. Mark Agrama and grandsons Michael Joseph Agrama and Gabriel Paul Agrama. He is also survived by his beloved son Jay Paul Keever and daughter-in-law Dr. Janine Lisa Keever and their son Ivan Edward Keever and many loved nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany in the 1950s. He was a retired Teamster who also owned his own business in Asheville, NC before retiring (again) in 2006. In 2010 he relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, FL to be near his children and grandchildren. He is a member of St Paul of the Cross Catholic Church in North Palm Beach, FL. He had a keen interest in the Civil War and was an avid collector of memorabilia from that era. He was also a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan who was very happy to see his team win the World Series in 2016.

He will be missed deeply by his family and those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11 from 4:00-7:00pm at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 12 at 11:00am at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 10970 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
