

Glenn Woodis Linton, 77, died peacefully Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He was born and raised in North Brookfield, Mass. by his parents, Winnona and Wesley Linton. He was a graduate of North Brookfield High School in 1950. Throughout his life he served both his country and community, in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and as a volunteer fireman in Vernon, Conn. He was also a long-time member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He met his loving wife, Margaret Keane Linton, in East Hartford, Conn. while working at Pratt and Whitney, the company he served for 32 years before retiring in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, wife and sister, Barbara Nicohls.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Glenn (Gail) Linton of Tuscan, AZ, Kathy (Jack) Wall of Madison, CT, Timothy (Connie) Linton of Hobe Sound, FL and Mark (Holly) Linton of Tolland, CT; sister, Georgia Briggs of New Braintree, MA, nine adoring grandchildren and a great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the funeral home with the family receiving friends starting at 3pm. In Lieu of flowers contributions in his memory can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407
