Harry M Shipley, age 91, passed away May 21, 2015 at his home in North Palm Beach, Florida surrounded by his daughters. He was born on July 8, 1923 in Frederick, Maryland. Harry graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy in 1943 and served in WWII and Korea. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard; his wife, Hattie; and his granddaughter, Mehgen. Harry is survived by his daughters, Susan Maidel (Bud), and Dianne McCormick; his son, Mathew Shipley; and his granddaughters Shelly, and Tonya. He was a member of the VFW and Rotary Club and he enjoyed sailing and golf. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach on May 27, 2015 at 10:00am.
