

Heidi Louise Guay was born June 2 1972 in Brooklyn New York . In 1975 she moved to Littleton Colorado where she grew up with her sisters playing outside doing gymnastics biking and doing many creative artistic activities.Heidi owned Colorado swimming records as a 12 year old.In her teen years she traded in patent leather shoes and dresses for combat boots and leather jackets.
In 1991 she moved to Florida and started her employment at Publix in West Palm Beach. Working there was her future husband partner in life and best friend Paul Guay.For 6 months Heidi and Paul were working together but had little contact. In late November they started noticing each other. After some lengthy phone calls multiple dates in a short period of time it was obvious that the hammer hit. An incredible 35 year relationship started.Heidi and Paul moved in together got engaged and were married September 26 1992 in West Palm Beach. In 1993 Heidi became a Mom when her daughter Hayley was born. In 1997 her son William was born.
Heidi wore multiple hats in her life.She always did it with dignity kindness and passion.Heidi was the perfect partner for Paul. An incredible wife very family oriented and his best friend. She was a Mom that was there for everything for her children. She helped at all levels of their education even homeschooling for a year. She was a Brownie leader a basketball Mom and a band Mom for Hayley. She was a baseball Mom ran the concession stand in his high school days and took over 30000 pictures of all players when William played college baseball. She was there for advice and support for her sisters. She was a caretaker for both her mom and dad in their later years.Her Mom could not move from the neck down in her last 6 years. Heidi drove to Miami at least once a week to support her.
Heidi was very creative. She made jewelry and did pottery.She also played the cello. She traveled extensively walked 3 miles daily attended Miami Heat games and went to concerts regularly. She did all of this while still being sweet humble and generous.
Heidi is predecesed by her mother Bonnie McGinley and her father John Mueller. She is survived by her husband Paul daughter Hayley son William and his wife Ali. She is also survived by her sister Heather Norten(Ryan) Holly Lind (JP)and Michelle Long (Joe) close friend Kelly Kayko many aunts and uncles nieces nephews and cousins.and her special dogs Oreo and Mira.
In honor of Heidi and her vibrant spirit,we invite those attending her memorial to wear colors that celebrate her life. While all are welcome to wear whatever feels most comfortable,we kindly ask that guests avoid black attire if possible .Heidi will be missed by all of us. She made everyone’s life around her special.
