Henry Thomas Inserra Jr.

Henry T. Inserra Jr. (Jocko) passed from this life on April 18, 2017 at Hospice in Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach. Henry was born in Kearney, New Jersey on August 15, 1953, the only son of Henry and Virginia Inserra. He grew up in North Palm Beach, graduated from Cardinal Newman High School, class of 1971, and then joined the Navy. He was affiliated with the Ritz Carlton for 15 years. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (nee Reggio), his sister, Patricia Wengierski (Timothy) several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Henry was a member of St. Paul of the Cross Parish, President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Paul’s, Chairman of the Food Distribution program, 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus 12322, and the 2012 Volunteer of the Year at the West Palm Beach Fishing Club. His favorite annual involvement was volunteering as Santa Claus for the children at Holy Cross Preschool in West Palm Beach. His cherished pastimes were boating, fishing and kayaking.

Wake service will be held at Howard Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 U.S. One, North Palm Beach from 5-8 pm on Sunday, April 23rd. Funeral Mass will take place at 12 pm on Monday, April 24th at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 10970 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Palm Beach Fishing Club annual “Take a Kid Fishing” Day.
