It is with deep sorrow that Howard's death was due to COVID 19 and came as a shock to all that loved, respected, and admired him. His loss is mourned by all that were touched by him. If you are reading this and have not been vaccinated, please consider doing so as a sign or your respect for him.
Howard was a kind, caring, and patient man who loved his family, adored his grandchildren, and always made time for them and was a very important part of their life.
Left behind to celebrate his life are his wife, Sherry (Hibbard), Daughters Stephanie (Woodford), Patricia (Kellogg), Erin (Cash) Foster and son Sean Gosney. Also, Howard's Mother, Patricia Truncelito and sister, Suzanne (Mellon), 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Howard was fortunate to have touched many lives through his extensive "Foster" family including present and past employees and clientele of FOSTER'S PUB, FOSTER'S TOO, FOSTER'S SHAK, & FOSTER'S SOUTH over the last 30 years; and his clients as a respected Broker of FOSTER BUSINESS BROKERS for 3 decades.
His travels thru life began being raised in his father's hotels, restaurants, and bars. Although he owned a school/photography business in St Louis, Mo, a septic company in Orlando, FL, a real estate and home construction business in Tampa, FL, and an amusement company in Alex, La, his love was always in the Hospitality Business. There were bars in Orlando and Tampa, but he was proudest of the four bars that have been a part of local Palm Beach County life for 30 years.
He would appreciate a raised glass and a life well lived when you have your next cocktail.
Howard was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Kim.
