

Ida Zambrano Chamberlin, 77, of North Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. Born on February 29, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Ida lived a life defined by love, generosity, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Stanley Chamberlin, her son Edward Zambrano and his wife Michelle, and her cherished grandson Max, who brought her endless joy. She was preceded in death by her stepson Russell Chamberlin. She also leaves behind her stepchildren Lorilyn Chamberlin, Glenn Chamberlin and Susan Chamberlin, and her step grandchildren: David, Stephen and Caroline DeCarlo; Zachary, Christina and Dylan Chamberlin; Clark Chamberlin and Phoebe (Chamberlin) Emerson. She loved and was loved deeply by them all.
Ida was selfless in every sense of the word—consistently putting others before herself. She embodied kindness, compassion, and quiet strength, always serving as a source of comfort and guidance to those around her. She was, to all who knew her, the very best of us—someone we could only hope to aspire to be.
A private service will be held in her honor, and her family invites loved ones to celebrate her memory by donating to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with a notification to [email protected].
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
