

James Andrew Kramer, age 75, of North Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1946. James graduated from North Miami Senior High, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Business Administration from Nova University.
James served in the United States Air Force as an Airman in Homestead, Florida from 1964 to 1968. James had a long and successful career as an aerospace engineer with Pratt & Whitney designing rocket engines. After nearly 40 years of service, he retired in 2010.
A Floridian through and through, James had a great love of Florida nature. He was an active member of the Pack and Paddle Club and a regular at beach clean-ups. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling across the country visiting baseball stadiums and catching games.
He is survived by his children Jay, Mary, and Allen, and five grandchildren, Ben, Courtney, Logan, Molly, and Augustine.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home in North Palm Beach on Friday, April 29 from 1-4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages loved ones to make a donation to the Friends of Johnathan Dickinson State Park in his memory.
