Age 65 of North Palm Beach and previously of West Chester and Springfield, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on June 22, 2021. John was born on May 221, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Springfield High School.
John worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and spent much of his 34 years of service at the Ardmore Post Office in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. He retired in 2011. John was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He also deeply loved fishing, his family and Bruce Springsteen.
John was preceded in death by his mother Mary A. Daley and his brothers James B. Daley and Barry Harper. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Maribeth Harper, Carolyn (Frank) Brady and Lori Daley; nieces and nephews Michael (Cara) Harper, Ashley (Theodore) Lescas, Mark (Mariel) Harper, Matthew Harper, James Daley, Stevie (Mark) Radziak, Nikki Daley (Josh Kleinburger) and Taylor Brady. Also survived by great nieces and nephews Ava Harper, Rafael Vasquez, Shane Daley, Justin and Devyn Klineburger.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at St. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Way, West Chester, Pennsylvania 19382.
