Phyllis and children...was very sorry to hear of John's passing when I was at the Camera Shop the other day.  Had no idea he was ill...he will be missed as he was an icon and always so helpful ...RIP...Larissa Lincoln (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

It's been a privilege and a pleasure to know John and see his smiling face at The Camera Shop.  Always a gentleman and a very special person.  Condolences to his family & friends.  He will me missed.

phyllis and family...so sorry for john's loss..he truly was a great example of both a family and community man who could be counted on to always be there and be available to those in need..having known mildred, mertle and walt for such a long time, it was natural for me to be a big fan of the wettermans. john exemplified so many strong and valuble traits over the years. his grandchildren should be well prepared to carry on with the traditions of excellence which he always exhibited. he and i had a nice friendship and i'll remember him always.

It has been truly an honor to work with John and be his friend for all these years. He was a great mentor and an even greater friend.

Please know you all have our deep and sincere sympathy. John was a special man in many ways, and it was our pleasure to know him. 
He will, most certainly, live in our hearts.

Our most sincere condolences to Mrs. Wettermann and Family.  The camera shop ran  thousands of rolls of film for us through the years before digital, John and the staff were more than just a service, but good friends as well. He was a good man and will be missed by all.

Deepest condolences to John's family. We have been customers for over 15 years. You couldn't ask for a more professional and friendly business owner. We and his many hundreds if not thousands of customers will greatly miss him.

To the Wettermann FAmily,

I will miss Mr. Wettermann greatly. One word will always come to mind when I remember him and that is "respect". I have known the Wettermann family well for close to 40 years. Mr. Wettermann was the essence of a family man and father. He was rock solid and someone who I always looked up to in an era where they are no longer many solid role models. A true measure of any friend is being there when no one is looking and a father is how you raise your children. Mr. Wettermann was as good at those two things as anyone I have ever met: "respect. My most heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to the entire Wettermann Family. 

Your Dad and Husband will forever be a role-model to me and a beacon for the correct way to raise my family.

When I was in Florida recently I went by the shop but John wasn't there.  I was saddened as I knew that it would be my last chance to see him.  When I was learning how to develop my own film he was always willing to help and answer any questions I had about the whole process.  He will be missed by all.

I have know John my whole life.  My dad, Bobby Baum, was a longtime customer and dear friend as well.  I remember sitting on the glass counter when I was a little girl.
As an adult I had the joy to reconnect wth John whenever I came to town.  I adored him and I will miss him dearly.

We are so sorry about John's passing. He was always so nice to us when we saw him. The one memory I have of him was when he was visiting Tam in PA and he just started to sing Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying". He had a pretty decent voice too. He was such a gentle man. Please let us know if you need anything!

Barbara and I are extremely sad to hear about John's passing. We have known him 20 some years ever since we started to come to the Camera Shop with our photographs from our dolphin studies in the Bahamas and later here in Florida. He was certainly a gentle should and we will miss seeing him when we come to store.
