

Age 90, of North Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully, to join his bride, Therese Marguerite, on February 23, 2013, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. Born on October 8, 1922 in Chicopee, Ma. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Bob enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Boise during WWII with additional service on the USS Bigelow. He ended his 20 year career as a Chief Petty Officer. After military retirement he relocated his family to Palm Beach County to work at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over 20 years. Bob was a volunteer umpire for Little League Baseball for 40 years in Northern Palm Beach County. He spent countless hours on the golf course and always kept his family and friends laughing with his sense of humor.

He will always hold a special place in the hearts of his daughter, Darlene Walsh (Bob) and three sons, Roger (Toni), Allan (Judi), Keith (Theresa), his ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren; his brother Armand (Vilma) of Enfield, Conn.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 27, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home, Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Clare’s Catholic Church.
