

Lillian Stansbury, age 93, of North Palm Beach Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 21st, 2026.
While in Hawaii during the 60's Bert volunteered with the Red Cross to comfort and transport the wounded in the Vietnam War to the hospital and rehab. For over 25 years Bert worked for Publix, she became the first female deli manager at the Palm Beach Publix.
Bert loved to frequent thrift stores and yard sales. She loved piecing together puzzles and playing the game sequence with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, her first and second husband, five of her siblings, and her great great granddaughter.
Bert is survived by her four children, one sister, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She leaves behind special friends such as the Cochran's, Sabayrac's, Hill's, Owens, Brown's, Bressmer's and White's as well as special neighbors. Bert is remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
A memorial service and a viewing celebrating Bert's exceptional life will be held on January 28th 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Howard Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. We invite all who knew and love Bert to join us in honoring her memory.
A beautiful life that came to an end she died as she lived everyone's friend in our hearts a memory will always be kept of one we loved and will never forget. Life is not forever, Love is.
