Linda Diorio

Linda Diorio, daughter of the late Eileen and Gabe Papain, was born on August 4th, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY. Linda grew up in Brooklyn and Westbury, NY. Linda loved Florida and spent many happy years living in West Palm Beach.

On October 12th, 1969, she married Dominick Diorio, and from this union one child was born, Vincent (Vinnie).

Linda has so many friends from all across the country, her co-workers at Publix at Ibis and HR Block, and her close knit bowling community. They would attest that Linda was a loyal and caring person, so sweet, with that infectious laugh no one could forget, and a fighter with a winning attitude. She was a true competitor as her many state tournament achievements evidence.

She was a true blue NY Yankee doodle dandee and a Duffy's sports grill gal to boot.

During the last months of illness, Linda continued to show her strength, humor, and determination for doing it "her way" as she had throughout her wonderful life.

Linda was called to rest on March 3, 2016.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son Vincent, her loving sisters, Joanne and Eileen, her devoted companion Rich, and a host of relatives and dear friends.

Linda, we love you and will miss you. The telling of your many "life stories" leaves us rich memories that will remain in our hearts forever.

Linda, we know you are rolling perfect scores with the Angels in Heaven.
