Dear Lou, Rosemarie, Belinda and David,
We are in shock and disbelief as we try to comprehend the unbelievable news of Linda's death. I have been thinking of her so much over the past few months and intended to reach out to her but... Coincidentally, on Aug. 2 I left on a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Good Help and looked at angels in the gift shop when I arrived, thinking of Linda. I will miss her! She was a dear friend for many years. We met and knew immediately that we were "soul mates" -- but she had that effect on many people. We will miss her beautiful face, her ever-present smile and her bubbly personality. She was beauty both inside and out! She loved her daughters and she loved her grandchildren. And she loved her Lou! We will miss all of the fun times we had together. There is nothing that can replace the void we all feel at her loss. She is, at last, with all "her angels" and may God give her peace and rest. Our prayers, thoughts and our love are with all of you as you cope with the pain of losing her. Your friends, Joan & Armand

I grew up as Linda's little kid cousin, always admiring her. The last time I saw Linda was at the Morlando/LaPone Cousins reunion that I hosted at my house in Frankfort, NY. Linda brought a plate of Italian cookies to the reunion, of course. Can't have an Italian reunion without those cookies. I loved being able to visit with her and her sister Marie and brother David. I'm so sorry that she was taken before her time, but I know that she is at peace. My prayers are for her daughters and husband. May they also be at peace in their hearts.

Lou, Rosemarie, and Belinda,

It is with knowing Linda for fifty years that I am able to share with you the knowledge of her love for her family. At all times you were paramount in her thoughts, concerns, and prayers. Your wife, your mother, was proud of you and felt truly blessed to have you in her life. She loved you all so deeply.

Linda gave generously to others and to causes she believed in. Her endless love and support in our friendship has taught me lessons I would not have otherwise learned. The tears, the joy, the laughter leaves me feeling so blessed to have shared my life with her.

Linda's faith and spiritual relationship with the Angels gave her strength, hope, and comfort. She is now among them and will remain ever present in the lives of those she loved. You will know she is nearby.

The pain of our loss is immeasurable but so are the precious memories of having loved and been loved by such an astonishing and irreplaceable woman.

My love, thoughts, and prayers to you.

Love Cindy

We share the profound sadness that so many are feeling since the passing of our amazing friend, Linda. We have, however, made a pact to ourselves to focus on the privilege of knowing and loving her... and being loved by her. To be her friend meant unconditional loyalty and unwavering support. She shared the same birthday as Jerry and that made them feel especially connected. For me, our bond was immediate and deep...we became the best of friends -- and Linda often called me her 'little sister'. :-)

We feel so blessed to have shared many experiences with Linda. We recall all of 'nights on the town', dancing, and traveling, ....and yet, our favorite memories remain those simple, magical, spontaneous moments of unbridled laughter and frolicking fun.

Yes, we are feeling immeasurable sadness.... but we are so grateful for the privilege of knowing and loving Linda. She will be missed but never forgotten.

With sympathy and much love to her family,
Deborah Shelton & Jerry Spady
