Lois Ann Terrace

Lois Terrace, 85 years young, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 21, 2026, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, kindness, and love.

Lois was beautiful inside and out. In her younger years, she was named runner-up for Miss Ramsey Jubilee, but those who knew her knew her greatest beauty came from her warm heart, generous spirit, joyful personality, and genuine love for others.

Lois leaves behind her four devoted daughters, Donna Caloia (Domenic), Deborah Terrace, Heather Borgersen (Andrew), and Meredith Arabas, and her four cherished grandchildren, Amber Borgersen, Timothy Arabas, Ryan Borgersen, and Hailey Borgersen.

She is joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved grandson, Christian Arabas, and Joseph Fleming, her cherished companion with whom she shared an extraordinary love. Lois and Joseph shared a love for each other, for life, and especially for God and their church.

Her faith was at the center of her life. Lois lovingly served her church as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, choir and bell choir member, and through countless committees. She also devoted her time to the Order of the Eastern Star, Girl Scouts, PTA, and numerous charitable organizations.

For Lois, cooking was her love language. There was always room for one more at her table and always something prepared for someone who needed a little extra love.

Lois treasured time at her family’s lake house in the Pennsylvania mountains—her “happy place.” It was where some of her most cherished memories were made, surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and the peaceful beauty of the lake and mountains.

Born in Valley Stream, New York, and raised in Ramsey, New Jersey, Lois spent most of her life in Northern New Jersey before moving to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, in 2016. She quickly became a cherished part of her Garden Oaks community, affectionately known as “the Party Lady” for her love of bringing people together and turning ordinary moments into celebrations.

Lois never met a stranger—only a friend she had not yet met. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, in every meal shared, gathering of friends, act of kindness, celebration, and expression of faith.

Her family finds peace knowing Lois is home in the arms of her Lord and Savior, reunited with so many loved ones who went before her. And while our hearts grieve here on earth, we smile knowing Heaven has gained an angel and we can only imagine the wonderful celebration taking place there now. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23
