I worked for Lou @ Porreco Ford from 8/82 until 8/85.  Nice man, sorry to hear of his passing.

     Lou was a classmate of my brother, Louis Pappas, at East High School,class of 1954.   He was one of the most active and beloved members of that outstanding class of athletes and scholars.   His warm demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills always made Lou a standout.  Lou went out of his way to help his fellow East High Warriors in later years with many gestures of kindness.   We are lucky to have had the pleasure of knowing Lou Porreco!

 I have known Lou since East High School where we swam, played water polo, and took a trip to Ohio to see possible colleges.
         Whenever I returned to Erie he would welcome us back.  He would take Sue and me on a cruise on his boat along the Erie waterfront.  We talked a lot about what he had been doing.  
          I was proud of what Lou had accomplished and will miss him.
