Of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on January 11, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband John Pauldine (1924-2001) and toddler daughter Lu-Ann Pauldine (1958). She is survived by her son Ralph Pauldine (Florida) and grandson John Pauldine (Kansas).
Lucille was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1924 and spent the majority of her life as a resident of Hawthorne, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Lincoln Grammar School and Hawthorne High School, Class of 1941. She also attended William Paterson University of New Jersey. Lucille was selected by the Rockettes of New York for dance after High School, but WWII broke out and she instead went to work for Grace Line Shipping and the Curtis Wright Company building propellers in the War effort. Later in life she worked for the National Council on Crime and Delinquency, she was an avid golfer and a member of the Hawthorne Gun Club. She moved to Florida permanently in 1998.
Arrangements will be private for immediate family and she will be entombed with her husband in Tequesta, Florida. If anyone wishes to recognize her passing, please make a donation in her name to the Hawthorne Boys and Girls Club, Hawthorne, New Jersey
