Peggy was born in Queens, New York on April 8, 1933. She graduated high school in New York and married Robert Howard Offerding on August 30, 1952. They celebrated 61 years of marriage before his passing.
Peggy retired from the Palm Beach County Tax Collector's office after 25 years of service, where she worked as a supervisor. She had many interests including bowling, camping, swimming, politics, family game night, bingo, cards, Rummikube and Yahtzee.
Peggy is survived by her sister, Laraine Rosenblum and her husband, Bob; three children, daughter Deborah Chesson and her husband, Joseph; son, Ronald Offerding and his wife Mary Ellen; and daughter Patricia Tucciarone and her husband Joseph. Peggy is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Offerding, her parents and her brother, Cecil Palm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Deborah Chesson, 12891 Pine Borough Lane, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 for the Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Tequesta.
