Martha moved to Palm Beach County with her family in1925 at the age of 9 months old. She was a descendant of Captain Thomas Graves, who on July 30, 1619, helped form the first government for the British colonies in Jamestown, VA. Martha was a graduate of Palm Beach High School, Class of 1943. She was employed at Southern Bell, where she worked for 3 and one-half years before moving on to FPL, where she worked until retirement.
Martha was a member of First Baptist Church in West Palm Beach, Memorial Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach and lastly Pastoral Care of North Palm Beach. She was an avid sportswoman, from bowling to tennis, and her final love was golf.
She was married to Dwight Holstlaw, who preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Crawford, Kenneth, Anita, Catherine, Audine, and Donald.
She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and family.
Visitation will be held on July 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center, 754 Us Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. A Funeral Services will occur in the funeral home at 11:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in West Palm Beach, FL for immediate family only
