

A Mass service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11am for Mary Muzzio at The Cathedral of St. Ignatius of Loyola, 9999 N Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 followed by a burial service where she will be reunited next to her love, Thomas Muzzio, at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Rd, Tequesta, FL 33469. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent by check made payable to Cabana at Jensen Dunes, LLC and mailed to 1537 NE Cedar St. Jensen Beach, FL 34957; Attention Alison Graziani.
Mary Muzzio was born on 12/08/1925 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of James and Jennie Nicoletta. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas Muzzio, on September 9, 1945 (deceased June 8, 2003). She is survived by her loving daughters Theresa Muzzio-Pressner and her husband Tracy Pressner, Rosemarie Muzzio-Minter and her husband Ray Minter, and Valerie Muzzio. She was preceded in death by her son Anthony Muzzio (March 26, 2000, husband of Valerie Muzzio). She is also survived by her grandchildren Thomas Muzzio, Mary Muzzio, Philip Rizzo and wife Marissa Rizzo and AnneMarie Rizzo, Timothy Bekkering and Tray Pressner. Mary was also Blessed with great grandchildren Thomas Muzzio, Raquel Muzzio, Nicole Wall, Hunter Kent. Mary loved cooking, being with her family and being the business owner with her husband, Thomas, of the famous Muzzio’s Italian Bake Shop that originated in 1977. She served as the President of the Columbiettes in Brooklyn, New York for many years. Mary was known for her delicious meals that she loved to share with others, spunky demeanor, loveable nature and devotion to her family.
The family would like to a give a special thanks to Dr. Frank Custureri who has cared for Mary and the family for so many years. Additionally, the family would like to express their deep gratitude to the administration and the entire staff of the Assisted Living Facility Cabana at Jensen Dunes. Each member left an indelible mark on Mary’s heart every day through their care and entertainment.
