Mary Jane (Varner) Saikley, 84, of Lake Park, FL died peacefully at The Hospice of Palm Beach County August 7, 2013. As the 8th of 12 children born to William and Ethel (Groves) Varner she was born August 30, 1928. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Louis H. Saikley. She is survived by sons, Louis (Judy), David (Nancy), and Nick (Cathy) and daughters, Edy Stratman (Phillip) and Marti Johnston. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Brothers, Alvin and Howard Varner and brother-in-law, Ray Randall also survive her. Visitation will be held at Howard-Price Funeral Home on August 9 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on August 10 at St. Claire Catholic Church in North Palm Beach at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County.
