Maurice G. Gagnon, 79 years old, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Maurice was born in Somersworth, N.H he served in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954 and was an active member of the Kiwanis Club. Maurice followed his dream and his love of the beach and sun and living in Florida when he moved to Jupiter in 1991. He retired December 13, 2009 after working 10 years as concierge at The Martinique on Singer Island, Florida where many great friends were made.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Carrington (Brent) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Linda Dwyer of Merrimack, NH; Grandchildren, Callie Ann Dwyer, Lori Lovasco Ataya (George), Scott Lovasco (Raquel), Shelly Carrington Conerly (Graig), Sally Carrington; great grandchildren, Ashlee, Matthew, Nick, Carlo, Ashlyn and Berlyn; sister, Rita Gagnon and nieces, Doris Gagnon, Jan Cenedella and Gale Patterson.
The family will receive friends (TODAY) Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm with a funeral service starting at 3:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park with military honors. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to Hospice of the Palm Beaches 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
