To my brother - three years have gone by since you left us but I still think of you often.  I probably always will.  I miss slowly cooking your spaghetti sauce with you as we talked and laughed at all sorts of crazy things while watching the Sopranos!  Such simple things ended up bringing me so much joy. This is Anne Kalathakis.  My brother, George called me a few minutes after hearing that Mickey passed away. He happened to be in Freeport today to purchase an appliance from C&C. George mentioned Mickey's name and was told about the shocking news.  For me, as you know, Mickey was my first love....so often I recall those young teenage years. It seems like yesterday (although 45 years have passed) they we were babysitting for you.  My heart goes out to all of you. He certainly will always be remembered by George and I as being one of the greatest friends we could ever have wished for. Mickey held a piece of our hearts.....forever and always!

To My Brother Mickey - Can't believe it has been one year since you were taken from us.  I still have my bad days when I can't think of you without tears but they are more infrequent so I must be finally accepting your loss but it has not been easy.  Still, writing a few words here always makes me feel a little better.  I hope we are together again and that you are looking down on all of this and realizing how much I and many others loved you.
