

Michael Joseph Hroszowy, 77, of Riviera Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the hospice unit of West Palm Hospital. Born in Blackstone, Massachusetts, to John and Stefania Hrossowyc (Zariczny), he lived most of his life in Blackstone and Riviera Beach.
Michael was a kind-hearted and funny man who was loved by many. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He was a friend to all. He worked most of his life in construction as a laborer, foreman, and a highly-skilled and sought-after lather. He enjoyed his retirement years working as a security guard at Eastpointe on Singer Island.
Michael loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and watching sports of all kinds. His greatest love was spending time with his family, and he will be missed every moment.
Michael is survived by his children Michael Hroszowy, Stephen Hroszowy, and Cheryl Gervais and her husband Glenn; his sisters Mary and her husband E. Roger Provost, Anna and husband Eugene Desjarlais, Theresa Debigare, and Dorothea and her husband Craig Holden; his brother Stanley Hroszowy; his grandchildren Tina, Stephen, Matthew, Trisha, Ben, and Abby; his great-grandchildren Courtney and George; and by many beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; son Charles; and his brothers John, Joseph, and Peter.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Cremation and Event Center on 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to the Heart Failure Society of America at www.hfsa.org.
