Nicole Elizabeth Nicolette was born on January 6th, 1979, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, to Dr. Anthony and Deborah Nicolette. From an early age, she was known for her bright spirit, determination, and kindness— qualities that would shape every part of her life, and which remained ever-present at the core of who she was.
Family was always at the center of Nicole’s world. She found her greatest happiness in the simple yet profound moments she shared with them.
In 2016, she met the love of her life, Curt Sanchez, and in May of 2018, they were married. Together they built a marriage and a family filled with happiness and love. Though life brought its challenges, their love for each other and for their family remained constant and they would not be broken. She was a devoted mother to her three children: daughter, Logan Mace (14), and two sons, Nicolas Mace (12) and Ryan Sanchez (6). Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she lived for them, never thinking twice about any sacrifice she made for their comfort and happiness.
Professionally, Nicole was a well-respected attorney whose accomplishments continued to pile up. Nicole had established herself as a successful attorney across multiple jurisdictions including Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. She was a tenacious advocate when necessary but always conducted her practice with respect, understanding and class.
Before earning her law degree, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, she graduated from Tulane University. For more than 14 years, she practiced as a civil and family law litigator, who also had a proven record in the arena of appellate law. Her dedication, integrity, and thoughtful approach earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
A proud Pennsylvania native, Nicole was a lifelong and PASSIONATE Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a devotion she carried with her no matter where life took her, and while the list of her professional accomplishments grew daily (for which she was deservingly proud), Nicole’s true success – her true gift – was the way she lit up every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Nicole is survived by her husband, Curt; her children, Logan, Nicolas, and Ryan; her parents, Dr. Anthony and Deborah Nicolette; and her sister, Dana Nicolette.
To have known Nicole was to have loved her. She moved through life with uncommon grace, and her warmth, compassion, and radiant smile made the world a brighter place. Her passion for life, dedication to family, and commitment to her work leave a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were lucky enough to cross her path. Her memory and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
