OBITUARY

Patricia A Glancey

May 21, 1933August 3, 2013

Patricia Glancey, age 80, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Apparently things were a little too quiet in heaven on August 3, 2013, because our Lord called Pat to join him and liven up the spirit of heaven. Predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Jerry. Survived by her children, Tom Glancey (Mary) of Columbus, OH and Cathy Bell (Bob) of North Palm Beach, FL; her four grandchildren who she loved deeply, Robby Bell (Stetson University College of Law) Taylor Glancey (The Ohio State University) Kayla Bell (Florida State University) Michelle Glancey (University of Cincinnati). Pat was born and raised in Kewanee, IL, but moved to south Florida in 1972. She had a great career as a hairdresser and forged lifelong friendships with her clients. She was a volunteer Pink Lady at Gardens Medical Center, an active member of the Women of the Moose Club, and a loyal member of St. Clare Church. Pat had more great friends than you and I could ever have in a thousand lifetimes. She loved spending time with her family, her great neighbors at Meridian Park, and her huge array of friends. It was truly amazing to witness the positive impact she had on people's lives! But the real joy of her life were her grandchildren. The smile on her face and the purest laughter you can imagine were brought on by spending time with Robby, Taylor, Kayla, and Michelle. She made a lasting effect on their lives. The family will receive friends to CELEBRATE HER LIFE on Thursday August 8, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Howard-Price Funeral Home, 754 US Hwy 1, North Palm Beach. Catholic Funeral Mass with Fr. O'Shea, St. Clare Church, North Palm Beach, Friday, August 9 at high noon. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to The American Stroke Association and/or St. Clare Church.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of our dear friend Pat. Pat's warm and welcoming smile greeted Marguerite and me upon our visits over the years. Her hospitality at our "coffee time with Pat" was always fun, the hours swiftly passed in laughter as we enjoyed her sense of humor. We miss her. John Cincotta and Marguerite Lee

Dear Cathy & Tom,
You know how much your mom meant to me and Mike, (my Polish husband) We had a great time with her always when we were together. Her laugh and sense of humor were the best. She and your dad and my mom are hanging out together again. I know you will miss her dearly, as you should. She was an amazing woman.

I can't remember when I enjoyed someone's company as much as I enjoyed Pat's. I met her as she served as a volunteer at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and will always be grateful for the experience, though it was too short-lived. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her.

Pat was one of my best friends. She was such a fun loving person. I will really miss all the good times we had together. I know that she is in a better place now and she is with Jerry. Miss you, my "Polish Step-mother".

Pat was one of the sweetest person I had the pleasure to meet in my life . It is going to be a lot quieter now..I will truly miss her laugh and her smile. She lived and enjoyed her time here and now she has moved on and she will see Jerry on the other side. It is so hard to loose your parents. Kathy and Tom you were truly blessed
