Raymond E. Nazzaro, age 61, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2021, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
He was born on February 24, 1960, in Camden, NJ to Arthur and Frances Nazzaro and later moved with his family and was raised in Wildwood Crest, NJ. There he was considered a great athlete, becoming an MVP on a winning Wildwood Catholic Crusader basketball team and a Senior Lifeguard on the Wildwood Crest beaches where he competed in regular South Jersey competitions which would eventually lead, as an adult, to his running competitively in numerous marathons and competing in multiple Iron Man (swim/bike/run) events throughout the country.
He was a graduate of Northeastern University, in Boston, where he interned and following graduation completed his Sales Management training at the Marriott Long Wharf and Cambridge Hotels.
“Ray”, as he was loving known, would go on to have a thirty-five year career in various Sales Executive roles with Marriott Hotels and Marriott Worldwide Vacations. Recently as a Sales Leader at Oceania Palms Marriott, Singer Island; where he always expressed great pride in the development of its beach front property, its amenities and treated his customers with memorable attention to detail; great hospitality and consideration.
Ray will be greatly missed as he is survived by his loving wife Annette, son from a previous marriage, Adam, daughter-in-law Riana, grandson Henry; brother, Arthur; sister, Lana; brother, Thomas; as well as nephew, Ben and nieces, Simone and Nicole.
