Richard W. Caudill

Born on September 21, 1934 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of Louise and Vincent Caudill. Dick graduated from Hamilton High School where he met and later married Loretta Young. They lived in Hamilton until relocating to South Florida in 1971. He was a graduate of Miami University (Ohio), a veteran, and former Captain of the Hamilton Fire Department. Dick was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church for 38 years, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6988 and 4th Degree Color Corp; and a founding member of the St. Ignatius Catholic Men’s Fellowship.

With the move to Florida, Dick became President /General Manager of Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company Ft. Lauderdale-Palm Beach. After 25 years, he assumed the CEO position for the parent company, Central Investment Corporation. He retired in 2006.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather; Dick is survived by, Loretta, his wife of 56 years; children and their spouses, P. Gale Hadaway ( Tim), Michael Caudill (Elizabeth), Karen Dyer (Buddy), and Rick Caudill (Lisa); grandchildren, Jared and Carly Hadaway, Trey and Drew Dyer, Katie, Alex, Jack, Leelee, Madison, Cooper and Caroline Caudill; sister, Margaret Calahane; brothers, Tom and Paul Caudill.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 4-7 PM at Howard Price Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 12:30 PM at St. Ignatius Loyola Cathedral, 9999 Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens; reception to follow.
