March 18, 1937 - July 13, 2018
Dick DiGregorio was born in the home of his parents, Adamo ans Isabella DiGregorio on Promenade Ave. on the east side of Detroit.
He is survived by his sisters, Marina Farhat and Dr. Joan DiGregorio; his children Adamo DiGregorio, Jeffrey Digregorio and Kimberly DiGregorio; his grandchildren, Mia Coco and Isabella Fay; and his former wife and lifetime best friend, Kathryn DiGregorio.
Growing up in Detroit during the post-war boom, Dick like his father Adamo, naturally fell into the automotive industry. In 1989, the family moved to Florida, where Dick resided until his death.
Dick lived two lives: one driven by industry, success and wealth in Detroit, the other by honesty, recovery and service in Palm Beach. Through his own struggles, he found humility and his passion. He went on to further his education to become an interventionist. From that day forward, he dedicated his life to helping others on their path to wellness.
Up until the day of Dick’s death, he found inner peace helping those struggling with addiction. If there is one thing to remember about him, it is that he did it his way.
The family suggests a donation to Catholic Charities Diocese of Palm Beach Gardens, catholiccharitiesdpb.org
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
