He married the love of his life, Nancy M. Norley, in August 1986. They were deeply devoted to each other, and spent 31 years together. Nancy pre-deceased him on July 1, 2018. Richard followed shortly afterwards on August 4, 2018.

Richard and Nancy resided at Brookdale Assisted Living, Palm Beach Gardens, FL for the last six years. The family would like to thank the many friends and caregivers who assisted and truly cared for them over the years. Also, we would like to thank Trustbridge Hospice, which provided such wonderful care as Richard and Nancy’s journey of love for each other came to the end.

Richard and Nancy’s strong faith in God was always evident and a blessing for so many others to witness. They were active volunteers at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, helping out wherever needed.

Dick,

Even though it has been a long time since I've seen you, you firm demeanor but delightful personality remains a vivid image in my mind. For the countless times you drove Nancy so diligently to my home to watch my daughter, the many advice that you gave me as a new mother and, the stern instructions you left me, "Be sure Nancy is ready on time today!" I thank you. I still smile to myself and sometimes even laugh out loudly at some of the things you would say to us.

May God give you eternal rest as you join Nancy in heaven!
Fondly,
Theresa and Kaitlyn
