Robert Lee Kennedy Sr.

Robert Lee Kennedy Sr., 90, of Royal Palm Beach, passed away suddenly on May 5th, 2022. Robert was born on September 3, 1931 in St. Louis, Mo. He moved to Palm Beach County in 1969. Married 62 years to his wife Joyce, who passed in 2012. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. In 1971, Robert opened Kennedy Chevron with his brother Tom, which they ran for 6 years. In 1977, Robert founded BK Automotive, which is still open today after 45 years as BK Inc. He would go in everyday to check things out, because his favorite hobby was work. He is survived by his three sons, Robert Jr. (Marta), Mark (Deb), and John; grandchildren, Trisha, Robin, Renee, Mark Jr., Diane, Ethan, Elizabeth, Ariana, Gary, Kyle, Jonathan; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren (5 generations). Friends may visit the family at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral and Event Center, 754 US Hwy 1, North Palm Beach, Fl. 33408, on Saturday, May 14th, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will start at 5:00 pm. Interment service will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery on Monday May 16th, 2022 at 10:30am.
