Ronald L Buch

Ron was born in 1935 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He left college in 1958 and joined the United States Army. While stationed in Germany, he met Hella Schmidt, who would become his wife of 56 years. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he re-joined Kresge Company, where he previously had worked. From starting in the stock room, he rose through Kresge and its successor K-Mart Corporation, over the course of 39 years. He retired as an Executive Vice President of K-Mart Corporation. Following his retirement from K-Mart, he served on the Board Directors of Perry Ellis International. Ron was a member of Royal Poinciana Chapel.

Ron is survived by his wife, Hella, his daughter, Annette, his son and daughter-in-law Hon. Ron and Deb Buch, and their daughters, Emma and Allison.

There will be a gathering of friends and family on Thursday, April 14 from 5:00-7:30, with a brief service at 5:30 followed by a celebration of life at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jupiter Medical Center, www.jmcfoundation.org.
