I was shocked to learn of the passing of Ronald J Woods. An inspirational and most generous person. His contributions will be missed indeed.

There are no words that can express this profound loss. The kind we are never prepared for.  There is a void indeed because you have touched every aspect of this life – you taught, influenced and inspired.

You taught us all how to give of self and selflessly and to dream big dreams.   You will be forever etched into the memories of many of us in Montana and we will miss you.  Many needy Montana children had great Christmas experiences thanks to you.  You were an inspiration and a friend to Curt, Emory, Tom, Jessica, Sandi, I and many others that worked for you at your ranch and Bootstrap High School.  You changed the lives of every young person who attended that school.  Montana will not be the same without you, but you will never be forgotten.  Rest in peace knowing that you made a difference.

I still remember the first time I met you I was helping take care of your yard had a fun time doing that for you and I still enjoy looking back at the pictures from the camping trip I was able to go on with you. I stumbled on this startling news quite by accident -and am astonished to learn of his passing. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Woods personally, he was known and esteemed throughout SW Florida through his professional outreach and generous philanthropy. 
Economics and Empathy are a rare combination. He exemplified it.
