

Sean Patrick McCarthy born August 20th 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio died Wednesday June 22nd in Juno Beach Florida after a battle with throat cancer. He is predeceased by his parents, Peter J. McCarthy and Mary Ellen McCarthy ne Hogan. He is survived by his wife Brenda Schultz-McCarthy, sons Brendan and Damien, Brother Peter J. McCarthy Jr, his wife Paula and daughter Hannah and her husband John Wilson, brother Thomas McCarthy and wife Marie MacLeod, sisters Molly McCarthy and Catherine Hogan and her husband Richard and son Bryce. Sean graduated from Roger Bacon High school and the University of Cincinnati with a business degree while on a football scholarship. Sean met Brenda in Florida when he was working as a broker for Dean Witter.
Twenty years ago, when his wife Brenda, who was a professional tennis player, suffered a career ending back injury and surgery did not work, Sean made it his mission to explore all of the different influences of stress that affect humans. Brenda was able to return and break a world record due to the systems he developed. Sean was a world renowned health coach, healer and peak performance expert who has worked with elite athletes, business leaders, practitioners, entertainers, families, individuals and communities alike, to identify and eliminate their own unique limitations in life.
Passions included reading, learning, reverse and expansive engineering of theories, concepts, or practices and anything to do with sports and nature. Sean Patrick McCarthy was the co-founder of the TEDS Foundation, which has holistically educated, empowered and trained children and families from over 30 countries. TEDS still today stands for Think, Eat, Do, Serve.
