Stanley J. Swiderski passed away May 18, 2012. He was born June 21, 1923, in Bridgehampton, NY, raised in Southampton, NY. He was the first member of his family to graduate high school. He enlisted and served in the 82nd airborne in 1944 and fought in Battle of the Bulge. He was one of two paratroopers to serve from Southampton. After the war, he met his bride Peggy Drake who is from Pittsburg, PA and moved to Palm Beach, Florida where they soon married and enjoyed the union lasting 63 years.
Stanley is survived by his wife Peggy, sons Jim (Renata) and Rodney (Lynda) from Long Island, Alan (Khadija) from Manhattan, and five grandchildren, Iris, Justin, Alex, Brittany, and Stephen.
The Family will receive friends at Howard-Price Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Prayer Service at 7:30pm.
