July 21, 1955 – January 7, 2025
Suzanne Walsh Carothers, born Suzanne Walsh White, passed away peacefully at her home in Jupiter, Florida, on January 7, 2025, at the age of 69.
Suzanne was born on July 21, 1955, in Chester, Pennsylvania, to the late Lloyd Bailey White Jr. and Catherine Marlyn Walsh. She grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Upper Darby High School. In later years, she made her home in Jupiter, Florida, where she created a life filled with love, laughter, and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary White. Suzanne is survived by her beloved daughter, Michelle Kellner, her grandson, Cooper Kellner, her son-in-law, Garrett Kellner, and her sister, Teresa White, who resides in Tucson, Arizona.
Suzanne spent most of her professional career with State Farm Insurance, where she not only thrived but also built a network of close friendships that felt like family. Her colleagues remember her for her dedication, humor, and the strong bonds she formed throughout her years there.
Suzanne was a devoted fan of the Florida Gators, proudly supporting her daughter’s alma mater. She had a signature joy and enthusiasm for UF, always showing off her favorite Gators paraphernalia.
Her sense of humor and quick wit left everyone smiling. Whether with a clever quip or a touch of playful sarcasm, Suzanne had a way of brightening any room she entered. She was a beloved friend and confidante to many, finding deep connection and joy in her church groups and her cherished beach group in Jupiter.
Honoring her wishes, Suzanne will be cremated, and her ashes will be released into the ocean she loved so dearly.
In lieu of a formal service, the family invites friends and loved ones to honor Suzanne’s memory in their own way, perhaps by sharing a laugh, wearing their favorite Gators shirt, or taking a moment to enjoy the ocean breeze.
Suzanne’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this time of loss. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her laughter, love, and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
