After a year long decline from dementia, Valerie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23 at 5:15 PM. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Evans, Kimberly‘s husband, Timothy and their two children Maxwell and Olivia✨. She is also survived by her sister Katherine Spence and brother-in-law, Gerald Hinnegan. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all she met.
Valerie was a Florida native and lived her entire life in Palm Beach County. She retired two years ago from WPEC TV 12, after 57 years of service.
Anybody that knew her, knew her world centered around her family, her fur babies, and her favorite pal Mickey. The Magic Kingdom was her favorite place to visit, and now she will reside in the Castle in the sky forever alongside her devoted husband, Michael (deceased in 2019).
