She graduated from Michigan State University in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, where she was President of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Ginny taught in the Centerline, Michigan School System outside of Detroit, where she met and married her husband of fifty-six years, Gary. After twelve years in Michigan, the family moved to Florida, where over the last thirty-two years they lived in Boca Raton, Hidden Key, and PGA National in Palm Beach County.
Ginny was devoted to and enjoyed her activities in many civic and social organizations, including the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross—where she served as Past President of the North County Red Cross Angels—the Panhellenic Association of Palm Beach County, the Delta, Delta, Delta Alumnae Group, her “Pearls” Book Club and Mah Jongg group. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach.
Ginny’s warmth, elegance, humor and friendship touched many. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
