He was born 1/27/28 in Jenkins Kentucky. Walt graduated from the University of Kentucky and
received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering. He was married to Ann B. Shubert for 58 years.
Walt worked at Pratt & Whitney from 1953 to 1991. He was the Program Manager for the Rocket
Division. He was also an Honorary Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded by his son Mitchell C. Shubert and is survived by wife Ann Shubert, sons Mark
Shubert, Mike Shubert and Matt Shubert and family Geri Shubert, Marie Shubert, Derrick Carter,
Michelle Carter, Maryanne Shubert, Mitchell J. Shubert and Melissa Shubert and 5 great grand
children.
Funeral arrangements will be held Saturday Nov. 12th at Howard Funeral Home in North Palm
Beach at 10:00. Service following with burial at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta at 2:00.
