Wanda Lynne Grahe

Wanda Lynne Grahe "Lynne" passed away at her home October 22, 2013 at the age of 78. Born "Wanda Lynn Witzel" in Alcoa, TN, she achieved both scholastic and athletic recognition at Alcoa High School before going on the University of Tennessee. Lynne met the love of her life, her husband, Milton Grahe, while he was stationed in Tennessee with the Air Force. They were married for 57 years. After several moves in the Air Force, Milt and Lynne settled in South Florida, in a house in Palm Beach Gardens, where they raised three children. While being the best "Mom" and wife in the world, she also worked and eventually retired from United Technologies/Turbo Power. She enjoyed bowling, baseball, basketball, playing the ukulele, dancing, and eventually "spoiling the heck" out of all her five grandchildren.

Wanda Lynne is survived by her husband, Milton; her three children, Terri Abeln (husband, Steve), Cindi Shays (husband, Jeff), Joseph Grahe (wife, Michelle), and her five grandchildren, Chelsie, Ben, Sam, Parker, and Mikki. She was preceded by her favorite cat named "Tang". Lynne, also known as, Mom, Grandma, DeeMom, is unbelievably missed and loved.

A celebration of her life funeral service, with friends and family, will take place at the Howard Price Funeral Home, 754 US Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL, on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a memorial gathering preceding the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. After the service, there will be a reception at the home of Joe and Michelle Grahe, maps will be available at the service.
